My name is Amanda. You can call me... Amanda.
I'm a twenty-something who's still in school, trying to figure out what I want to do with my life. I'm questioning several things right now, including my education, my sanity, my sexuality, Etc.
I love music. I have been called a music snob on more than one occasion. This may or may not be true. I will admit to nothing.
Occasionally, I'm witty. More often than not, I'm angsty. I don't curb my language. I try to put more graphic things under cuts, but sometimes, I don't. Sometimes, I'm an idiot. I've still got some growing up to do. I make no promises about the content of this journal.
Things I write about:
school (classes, professors, homework, how I haven't done my homework, how I generally fail at being an academic)
guide dogs (how mine does great work, how mine does crappy work, my guide dog school, other guide dog schools, accessibility difficulties, other guide dog-type political musings)
blindness (technology, socialization, alienation, general thoughts about how blindness influences my life)
family (I love them, I hate them, I miss them, Etc.)
friends (I love them, I hate them, I miss them, Etc.)
things that smell good (Lush, BPAL, Villainess, Arcana, Etc.)
things that are good for you (Aubrey Organics, Seventh Generation, menstrual cups, Etc.)
things that are "bad" for you (sex, drugs, rock n' roll, Etc.)
TV (Doctor Who, Torchwood, House, whatever else I happen to be obsessed with at the moment)
music (musicmusicmusic, new bands, old bands, what I've been listening to, shows I want to see, shows I have seen, shows I didn't get to see, Etc.) ...
